How We Got Here
It all started with an adventure…
My wife Shayne and I have always been children of travel. Our first date was talking about van life and even today we watch our favorite van life Youtubers as we embark on the next journey in life.
I started my traveling in Europe during high school, road trips and music festivals through my 20s, and a summer in Africa starting a national lacrosse team and climbing Mount Kilimanjaro. What we know is that life is to be enjoyed, memories to be created, and people to encounter. Becoming a mobile tech is way more than a job but is an entrance into a life that I know so many of us share. A life of freedom and connection. A life full of uncertainty of the destination but certainty of fulfillment. We are always one conversation or experience away from our lives taking a great turn.
At the end of 2021 I was facing some forks in the road, and it was one conversation with friends over a dinner that changed the course of our life. It was a moment where a seed was planted in my heart and developed into this next chapter for our family and also for you! I value people and conversation because we all have a unique story to tell and are bringing something different to the table. I think it’s awesome to see the pieces come together and “aha” moments happen.
Life is an adventure to be lived out and shared. I am excited to hear yours.
When I made the decision to start a mobile RV repair company, I wanted to make sure I was getting the best training possible. Through the advice of my friends and people who had already graduated from the school, I attended the National RV Training Academy in Athens, TX. After a couple months and hundreds of hours of hands on and classroom training, I completed the certification exam and was on my way. Over the two months, we learned everything about RVs, 5th wheels, toy haulers, diesel pushers, and pretty much all recreation vehicles. We studied each of the major systems which included diagnosing and repairing 100s of units; water heaters, refrigerators, slideouts, furnaces, A/C units, and more. This thorough practical training is what makes Camper Alex RV stand out among the other repair businesses out there.
You can expect professional, honest diagnostics and repair from a trusted organization. Because of the network we come from of reliable technicians and decades of experience, you will receive top-rated service and long-term relationships.
We want to be your RV guys!
